College

I believe there are not any "thugs" in college, but simply people trying to fit in or get an image. College is for us as individuals to find our careers, grown and mature as individuals, but also gain knowledge and self respect for ourselves. High school and college has no comparison to each other, some individuals need to grow up and not waste their lives trying to fit in or gain this "image".

Why Assessments are so important

Assessments are the main source of a teachers instruction, or her way of teaching. An assessment could be a pencil paper test, an observation, or simply having children draw a picture. This allows the teacher to see what the child has learned, what the child needs to learn, or by having them draw a picture, what is on their minds.

I plan on teaching pre-k or maybe kindergarten, so i would assess them with colors, the alphabet, pictures, or fun games so that the children can not only learn but have fun at the same time. Some students learn faster than others, and by doing these oral assessments it can really let me know who may be struggling and who has grasped the concept they should by this age level.
