In my future classroom I plan on using prezi instead of power point. I feel that prezi is more up to date and advanced that power point. PowerPoint is real basic and just switches to the slide with a simple transition that we have all seen before. Prezi will keep the students on their toes and make them want to explor more because of the different tweaks prezi has to it.

subs in schools
Like everyone else i have been doing observations and on today there was a sub. It is so crazy how kids act completely different whenever there is a sub, they all let loose as if they have been waiting for this day to come. I walk into the classroom and the kids were loud, out of their seats, all of them doing random things. Sad part is, the man was so nice and his wife is also a teacher in the same school. I think subs are too lenient, but not everyone knows classroom management.

Many teachers are stuck on being creative in traditional ways. Let your students and yourself as a teacher explore more. A creative way to paint something is with bubble wrap. Cut out shapes in the bubble wrap, which ever the kids prefer, and dip the shape into paint and place it on a piece of paper as you would do a sponge. This technique is very fun and creative. I like for students to stay engaged and be interactive.
